I was born and raised in Sarasota. Left in '91. Really miss it. I didn't at first. After living nearly 30 years at the beach, being close to the mountains and having a change of season was really cool. But that wore off after several years. There is something about Sarasota, a mystique, that I will always long for. Good luck on getting there!
