Siesta Beach
Relax on our World Famous White Sand Beach!
Our world famous Siesta Beach, just off the Sarasota mainland on Siesta Key Florida, consistently rates as the 2nd best beach in the state, as rated by cable-TV’s “The Travel Channel” and in May 2008 was named the nation's 3rd highest rated beach in an annual ranking of America's top 10 beaches. One step on to our fabulous beach will confirm it's rankings and show you why it's ranked number one of all Sarasota Beaches among locals and returning seasonal residents. While its gulf beach waters are clear, aquamarine and turquoise blue, its beaches are of white, baby powder fine, soft sand. In fact the color and texture of the sand keep it cool to the feet, even during the hottest and steamiest of summer months.

There are jet skis and parasails...

Volley ball, Soccer areas and Tennis Courts...

Picnic areas and barbecue grills...

Children's playgrounds...

There are nice amenities and conveniences including lifeguards, group size picnic pavilions, concession stands, restrooms and beach umbrella rentals. It's all here!

By the way, parking and beach access are free at all Sarasota County Public Beaches; A nice bonus from other Florida public beaches.

Siesta Beach is a very wide beach with lots of room to spread out, great amenities and lots of parking. It's the most well known and popular of the Sarasota Beaches and therefore usually brings out the crowds in and out of season. Bring your sunscreen and cooler, your shades, sun hats and visors, towels and chairs and kick back and enjoy our white sandy beach.Sunsets are spectacular here.
