LAKE VENICE GOLF CLUB

Four of us played the Lake Venice Golf Club in Venice in January twice. The rates were reasonable. It's right off the ocean. It wasn't overly crowded, but we still needed to book a tee time.

They have 3 nine hole courses. You can play any 2 to mix it up.

The weather was great - mid 80's. It's a block off the ocean so there's a nice ocean breeze.

The course was in great shape. Quite challenging.

They also have a great lunch at the turn, and very reasonable.

Both days we played were perfect winter days for January in Florida.

They have a well stocked pro shop. The people are friendly.

Overall, it was a great experience. We would do it again.
