Cracked it!!!!

We stay at the Diplomat on Gulf of Mexico Drive (Longboat Key) most years in February and after 3 years I finally "cracked" it; I just wait until the sun drops over the horizon, & the waters edge is alive, and when it's dark.......a fish, a cast, instant bites & fantastic sport...

Also, in February we had the pleasure of watching the stingrays going past in six inches of water, some were four feet across!

Next year the travel rod will get tested to the limit!

Missed last February, family went to Pittsburgh instead as I was changing contracts.....& stayed home in UK.

I can not wait for our return to the Diplomat on Longboat Key.

Nine days of fishing heaven, a few sessions by the bridge before St Armand's Circle & a session every morning/evening on the beach at the Diplomat..might even try a pier this time around.

Roll on February!
