February 14, 2019: It may not be quite the Tennessee Bird Walk but the Siesta Key Village Valentine Stroll offers live music throughout the village and free
candy kisses from the merchants. Participating merchants will have pink
and red balloons outside their businesses. Free admission. 5 p.m. - 8

February 14, 2019: Celebrate Valentines Day at the Beach with love and romance: Renew your wedding vows and say “I Do” all over again on Siesta Key Beach in a non-denominational service. Couples of all ages and length of marriage gather for the annual group renewal of vows at the Siesta Beach Pavilion, presided over by a 12th Judicial Circuit Court Judge. Event begins at 5 p.m. but couples are encouraged to arrive as early as 4:30 p.m. to check in. It’s a tradition that dates to 1989 and it’s open to all, but you must pre-register by Feb. 11. Call 941-861-5000. There's a $10 per couple fee ($20 on site, day of event) and includes a certificate, commemorative gift, flower, music on the beach and light refreshments. February 16 - 17, 2019: My February Sarasota Events Calendar thinks you'll enjoy the 25th Annual Siesta Key Craft Festival.
Everything from folk art, handmade jewelry, pottery, paintings and
more! Surely you can find a unique item for your home in one of the
outdoor galleries. The Fair is a tradition and draws a huge crowd. 10

April 6, 2019: It's the 33rd Annual Run/walk for the Turtles sponsored by Mote Marine on Siesta Key Public Beach. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Siesta Key Gazebo south of the pavilion. The one-mile fun run or walk begins at 7:30 a.m. The 5-K Run begins at 8 a.m. The entry fee benefits the Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Program at Mote Marine Laboratory. 388-4441 xt 357. April 20, 2019: Bring the little ones to the Siesta Key Children's Egg Hunt for ages 1 - 6 at Turtle Beach. Come celebrate this Easter with the Siesta Key Children's Easter Party and Easter Egg Hunt! This family-friendly event is open to children ages 1-6 ($10 per child). Activities include an Easter egg hunt, games, free photos with the Easter bunny, the Sheriff’s mounted patrol, and more! Kona Ice will be offering items available for purchase. Children ages 1 to 6 are invited to register and participate. All Easter eggs will contain prizes donated by Siesta Key Chamber Member businesses. Each child who registers will also receive a goodie bag. Children should bring something to carry their collected eggs in. Pre-registration begins March 20th, and is required for the Easter Egg Hunt and limited to 175 children. There is a $10 fee per child. The free Siesta Breeze Trolley service will begin at 8:30 on that morning and will be making rounds approximately every thirty minutes from SK Village to Turtle Beach. 5:30 p.m. and the beach run starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. Free. The runs are a popular summer event
combining exercise and fun. Complete four runs and earn a free custom

July 4, 2019: Watch from land, sea or the Intracoastal Waterway. The 27th Annual 4th of July Fireworks Display over Siesta Key are blasted off just north of the volleyball courts, so viewing is good from anywhere south and along Crescent Beach (south of Siesta Public Beach), out on the Gulf, or from the Intracoastal waterway. October 31, 2019: It's the 35th Annual, Siesta Key “Safe Treats!” Bring your little ones to trick or treat and look for participating members displaying festive balloons. In addition to Siesta Key Village, the event has expanded to include merchants on South Siesta Key. Hop on the free, Siesta Breeze Trolley which makes a continuous loop between the Village and Turtle Beach, with multiple stops along the way. 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Siesta Key, Sarasota, FL.
November 9 - 12, 2018: The 9th Annual Siesta Key Crystal Classic Master Sand Sculpting Competition. Master Sand Sculptors from across the U.S. will compete in paired teams for Thousands in prize money. Other events connected to the competition will take place, as well. Those activities, including live music and food and retail vendors in a "vendor village" setting are also a part of the festival. Friday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Sunday: 10 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Various on line discount available with various ticket packages including reserved private parking. November 24, 2018: It's the 34th annual Light Up Siesta Key and Village Holiday Parade. Enjoy the Christmas Tree at the Village Gazebo, Santa's arrival, live music, and other entertainment. The Village Holiday Parade will begin at Avenida del Mare and Beach Road at 5:30 p.m. traveling north on Beach Road onto Ocean Blvd. into the Village. Many businesses and local groups will be participating in the parade and the welcoming of Santa to Siesta Village. Santa will arrive at the Siesta Center at approximately 6:15 PM to greet all children. The first 250 children to see him will receive gift bags donated by Beach Bazaar. At Siesta Center, there will also be face painting and activities. Photos may be taken with Santa, free of charge. Free public transportation is provided courtesy of the Siesta Breeze Trolley from Turtle Beach to the Village (with multiple stops along the route, including Siesta Beach). December 26, 2017: It's the 8th annual Siesta Key Santa Stumble pub crawl in Siesta Key Village among several of the bars. There's a "Santa Sack Race." The Siesta Key Beach Drum Circle
The drums beat and people dance every Sunday evening on Siesta Key Beach. It takes place about an hour before sunset, just south of the main pavilion on Siesta Public Beach. Listen for the drums and follow the crowd. Bring your chair or beach blanket and refreshments. Even bring your own drum and play along!
