February 14, 2021: It may not be quite the Tennessee Bird Walk but the Siesta Key Village Valentine Stroll. Stroll Siesta Key and look for balloons at

February 14, 2020: Celebrate Valentines Day at the Beach with love and romance: Renew your wedding vows and say “I Do” all over again on Siesta Key Beach in a non-denominational service. Couples of all ages and length of marriage gather for the annual group renewal of vows at the Siesta Beach Pavilion, presided over by a 12th Judicial Circuit Court Judge. Event begins at 5 p.m. but couples are encouraged to arrive as early as 4:30 p.m. to check in. It’s a tradition that dates to 1989 and it’s open to all, but you must pre-register by Feb. 7, 2021. Call 941-861-5000. There's a $15 per couple fee ($25 on site, day of event) and includes a certificate, commemorative gift, flower, music on the beach and light refreshments. February 27 - 28, 2021: Take some time to enjoy the 27th Annual Siesta Key Craft Festival. Everything from folk art, handmade jewelry, pottery, paintings and more! From the more than 100 crafters surely you can find a unique item for your home in one of the outdoor galleries. The Fair is a tradition and draws a huge crowd. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days. April 3, 2021: TBA for 2021. To be a virtual event in 2021. More details are pending. It's the 34th Annual Run/walk for the Turtles sponsored by Mote Marine on Siesta Key Public Beach. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Siesta Key Gazebo south of the pavilion. The one-mile fun run or walk begins at 7:30 a.m. The 5-K Run begins at 8 a.m. The entry fee benefits the Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Program at Mote Marine Laboratory. 388-4441 xt 357.
April 3, 2021: Bring the little ones to the Siesta Key Children's Easter Egg Hunt & Party for ages 1 - 6 at Turtle Beach. This family-friendly event is open to children ages 1-6 ($10 per child). The egg hunt is open to children ages 1-6. It's $10 per child with a goody bag for each! Advance registration is required; 175 limit. Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. There will be Kona Ice and photos with the Easter Bunny, a fire truck & ambulance drive by at 10 AM, games and prizes and an animal education session with Stella the Sloth! Advance registration required for egg hunt. Free parking is available on site. The free Siesta Breeze Trolley service will begin at 8:00 on that morning and will be making rounds approximately every thirty minutes from SK Village to Turtle Beach. Event is 9 am - Noon. April 4, 2021: Easter Sunrise Service - Pine Shores Presbyterian Church hosts its 61st Easter Sunday sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. at Siesta Key Beach near the pavilion. Bring a beach chair or blanket. April Siesta Key Activities

are 1-mile beach runs held every Tuesday (through July 27) at Siesta
Beach on Siesta Key near the pavilion. For ages 1 - 17. This one-mile fun run for kids is a summer favorite and a great opportunity for families to exercise together and have fun at the beach! Weekly registration begins at 5:30 p.m. with race time at 6:30 p.m. Kids receive a participation ribbon at each run. Complete four runs and earn a free custom t-shirt. (More at 941-861-5000.

July 4, 2021: Watch from land, sea or the Intracoastal Waterway. The 30th Annual 4th of July Fireworks Display over Siesta Key are blasted off just north of the volleyball courts, so viewing is good from anywhere south and along Crescent Beach (south of Siesta Public Beach), out on the Gulf, or from the Intracoastal waterway. Beach spectators are strongly advised to not bring their own fireworks. With so many people, especially small children, individuals using fireworks can be extremely dangerous. October 24 - 25, 2020: The 42nd Annual Siesta Fiesta has been rescheduled from April.
October 31, 2020: It's the 36th Annual, Siesta Key “Safe Treats!” Bring your little ones to trick or treat and look for participating members displaying festive balloons. In addition to Siesta Key Village, the event has expanded to include merchants on South Siesta Key. Hop on the free Siesta Breeze Trolley which makes a continuous loop between the Village and Turtle Beach, with multiple stops along the way. 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Siesta Key, Sarasota, FL.
November 13 - 16, 2020: Canceled for 2020. Next event will be November 12- 15, 2021. The 10th Annual Siesta Key Crystal Classic Master Sand Sculpting Competition. Master Sand Sculptors from across the U.S. will compete in paired teams for Thousands in prize money. Other events connected to the competition will take place, as well. Those activities, including live music and food and retail vendors in a "vendor village" setting are also a part of the festival. Friday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Sunday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Monday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Various on line discount available with various ticket packages including reserved private parking. November 28, 2020: It's the 35th annual Light Up Siesta Key and Village Holiday Parade. Enjoy the Christmas Tree Lighting at the Village Gazebo and live music from the Pine View jazz Combo. Free gift bags for the first 200 kids. Free public transportation is provided courtesy of the Siesta Breeze Trolley from Turtle Beach to the Village (with multiple stops along the route, including Siesta Beach). December 26, 2019: It's the 9th annual Siesta Key Santa Stumble pub crawl in Siesta Key Village among several of the bars. There's a "Santa Sack Race." The Siesta Key Beach Drum Circle
The drums beat and people dance every Sunday evening on Siesta Key Beach. It takes place about an hour before sunset, just south of the main pavilion on Siesta Public Beach. Listen for the drums and follow the crowd. Bring your chair or beach blanket and refreshments. Even bring your own drum and play along!
