February 14, 2018: It may not be quite the Tennessee Bird Walk but the Siesta Key Village Valentine Stroll offers live music throughout the village and free candy kisses from the merchants. Participating merchants will have pink and red balloons outside their businesses. Free admission. 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Siesta Key Village. There will be pedicab and golf cart cab services from the Siesta Public Beach parking lot to the Village.
February 14, 2018: Celebrate Valentines Day at the Beach with love and romance: Renew your wedding vows and say “I Do” all over again on Siesta Key Beach in a non-denominational service. Couples of all ages and length of marriage gather for the annual group renewal of vows at the Siesta Beach Pavilion, presided over by a 12th Judicial Circuit Court Judge. Event begins at 5 p.m. but couples are encouraged to arrive as early as 4:30 p.m. to check in. It’s a tradition that dates to 1989 and it’s open to all, but you must pre-register by Feb. 11. Call 941-861-5000. There's a $10 per couple fee ($20 on site, day of event) and includes a certificate, commemorative gift, flower, music on the beach and light refreshments. February 24 - 25, 2018: My February Sarasota Events Calendar thinks you'll enjoy the 24th Annual Siesta Key Craft Festival.
Everything from folk art, handmade jewelry, pottery, paintings and
more! Surely you can find a unique item for your home in one of the
outdoor galleries. The Fair is a tradition and draws a huge crowd. 10

March 31, 2018: Bring the little ones to the Siesta Key Children's Easter Party & Egg Hunt for ages 1 - 6 at Turtle Beach. Come celebrate this Easter with the Siesta Key Children's Easter Party and Easter Egg Hunt! This family-friendly event is open to children ages 1-6 ($10 per child). There will be games, prizes, goody bags, fire truck and ambulance tours, mounted Sheriff's Patrol, face painting and more! Event time: 9 a.m. - noon at Turtle Beach, 8918 Midnight Pass Road. April 1, 2018: Easter Sunrise Service - Pine Shores Presbyterian Church hosts sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. at Siesta Key Beach near the pavilion. Bring a beach chair or blanket. April Siesta Key Activities
April 7, 2018: It's the 32nd Annual Run/walk for the Turtles sponsored by Mote Marine on Siesta Key Public Beach. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Siesta Key Gazebo south of the pavilion. The one-mile fun run or walk begins at 7:30 a.m. The 5-K Run begins at 8 a.m. The entry fee benefits the Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Program at Mote Marine Laboratory. 388-4441 xt 357. April 21 - 22, 2018: It's the Volley America Spalding King of the Beach Big Shot Volleyball Tournament featuring 25 nets, open men, women, juniors and collegiate levels. May 19 - 20, 2018: Can you dig it? It's the Dig The Beach - Siesta Key Volley Ball Classic bouncing in for the weekend. It's fun in the sun and sand with check in at 7:00 a.m. and competition starting at 8:00 a.m. You're sure to see some great volleyball action. Free spectator admission. June 5 - August 7, 2018: The Kids Summer Beach Runs
are 1-mile beach runs held every Tuesday (through Aug. 7) at Siesta
Beach on Siesta Key near the pavilion. For ages 1 - 17, participation
ribbons are awarded along
with a free ice pop each week. Registration at each location begins at
5:30 p.m. and the beach run starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. Free. The runs are a popular summer event
combining exercise and fun. Complete four runs and earn a free custom

July 4, 2018: Watch from land, sea or the Intracoastal Waterway. The 27th Annual 4th of July Fireworks Display over Siesta Key are blasted off just north of the volleyball courts, so viewing is good from anywhere south and along Crescent Beach (south of Siesta Public Beach), out on the Gulf, or from the Intracoastal waterway. July 19 - 24, 2018: The USA Volleyball Junior Beach Tournament Championships. The 12U and 16U age groups in both genders will compete July 19-21 with titles in the National Open, Region and Patriot Divisions. The 14U and 18U age groups for both genders compete for Open, Region and Patriot Division titles from July 22-24. The tournament expects to feature over 400 boys’ and girls’ teams from across the country ranging in age from 10-18. Crowds will be large for this 6 day tournament. Siesta Key volley ball courts. October 31, 2018: Bring your little ghosts and goblins for a Safe Treats Halloween in Siesta Key Village. Look for participating members displaying orange and black balloons and pumpkin flyers in their windows in Siesta Village along Ocean Blvd. and the surrounding streets. November 10- 13, 2017: The 8th Annual Siesta Key Crystal Classic Master Sand Sculpting Competition. Master Sculptors from across the U.S. will compete in paired teams for over $25,000 in prize money. 10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. $5 for Children 5 - 17; $10 for 18 years and older. Children under 5 are free. November 25, 2017: It's the annual Light Up Siesta Key Village Parade and Holiday Open House. Enjoy the holiday tree lighting, Santa's arrival, live music, and other entertainment. Get there early. The Parade begins at 6 p.m. in the Village, hosted by the Siesta Key Oyster Bar at 5238 Ocean Blvd. Free Trolley rides will be available from the Siesta Key Public Beach to the Village from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Siesta Key Village. December 26, 2017: It's the 8th annual Siesta Key Santa Stumble pub crawl in Siesta Key Village among several of the bars. There's a "Santa Sack Race." The Siesta Key Beach Drum Circle
The drums beat and people dance every Sunday evening on Siesta Key Beach. It takes place about an hour before sunset, just south of the main pavilion on Siesta Public Beach. Listen for the drums and follow the crowd. Bring your chair or beach blanket and refreshments. Even bring your own drum and play along!
