2023 Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training Schedule is below.

NOTICE FOR 2023 RAYS SPRING TRANING CHANGES

The Tampa Bay Rays will not be traveling to Port Charlotte for the 2023 spring training season due to significant damege to the stadium by Hurricane Ian in late September 2022. The Rays have been holding spring traiing in Port Charlotte since 2009.

The Rays will hold the first phase of their Major League Spring Training camp at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex before hosting most of their Grapefruit League games at Tropicana Field in St. Pete.

The Rays’ Major League spring workouts, plus a Feb. 28 home game, will take place at the Disney complex in Lake Buena Vista. Tampa Bay’s Major League operations will move from the Walt Disney World Resort to Tropicana Field at the beginning of March, and the Rays will play the remainder of their spring home games at the Trop.

Previous to 2023, The home games of the Tampa Bay Rays are played at The Charlotte County Sports Park at 2300 El Jobean Rd, Port Charlotte, FL.

The Park was renovated to the tune of some $28 Million to welcome the team to their new spring home starting in 2009.

So if you attend workouts or games, you'll be among those witnessing a recent rebirth of spring training in Port Charlotte as well as updated new digs for the team.

The facility had been without a team since the Texas Rangers left after the 2002 season.

Below Are Game tickets we were able to source.

The Rays are fortunate in that their spring training facility is located in their home state of Florida. It makes it easy for the local fans to come out to the old ball game during spring training season.

Make your plans to come out and see this year's new comers hoping to make the team along with returning Tampa Bay Rays as well as veterans.

There's nothing like watching spring training exhibition games while being able to work on your tan. Ah, Florida Spring Training!!
